Start with the device, not the destination
Check the exact model and regional variant of your phone with its manufacturer. It must support eSIM and be unlocked for the intended provider. A compatible model name alone does not guarantee that every regional variant works.
Match coverage to your actual itinerary
Compare every country you plan to visit with the provider’s coverage list. A regional plan can simplify a multi-country trip, but the included networks, coverage and data allowance can vary by destination.
Read the data and validity rules together
Look for the data allowance, validity period and the event that starts that period. Some plans start on installation; others start when connecting to a supported network. Check top-up availability and what happens when data runs out.
Separate installation from activation
Use a stable internet connection to follow the provider’s installation guide. Do not scan or delete an eSIM repeatedly: some profiles can only be installed once. Enable the travel line and roaming only as directed by the provider.
Before you pay
Confirm hotspot support, whether calls or texts are included, and refund eligibility before installation or activation. Keep the order confirmation and the provider’s support instructions available offline.
